On-Line Auction Company

We intend to compete with the world-famous Ebay Auction company out of California which sells on average, one million items per day. The beauty of Ebay is the fact that the company does not handle any of the merchandise that changes hands. They not only collect, in advance, the 'listing fee' but they are paid when each item is sold. They are not responsible for delivery. We have contacted the company that provided Ebay's programming for the internet, Thunderstone Inc. out of Ohio, and they have agreed to provide us with a turn-key site for $60,000 total. It is believed that Ebay's net income for 2002 was a staggering $300 million and their subsidiary, "PayPal" netted them another $92 million the first quarter of 2002. Ebay has over 800 million page hits per day on their site. We intend to make our site more viewer friendly and easier to use. Costs to run the system and company are low. It is interesting to note that Ebay did not advertise their services in the beginning of 1995. Their public stock shot to astronomical heights very quickly. This is our goal.
